I have been rediscovering him lately. I think some free downloads are available. He was a superstar in rendering and had huge influence right up into the 1950’s. Even now he continues to influence film art direction (Gotham?).

As a Designer, you will need to understand how to draw “axonometrics” – a fairly simple way to pop a plan up into 3D – useful to get an understanding of massing/form in a project.
As a Designer, you will need to understand how to draw “orthographics”, plan-section-elevation-detail. Here is a relatively simple plan and section for discussion.
