FOREST-STREAM-FALLS ACRYLIC INTRO – SHADBOLT (TAS Jun 8, 2016)

By | June 8, 2016

This workshop demonstration was about painting a stream in a forest. I like this as a ‘genre’. Water forms the stream bed which forms the water. Pos-Neg, Yin-Yang, Male-Female, etc…Very B.C.  By the way,  the rocks were scrape-outs with eraser. Great fun!!!  Doing a blue under-painting allows changes to composition to be made easily without having to mix or re-mix complicated colours. The blue disappears into subsequent glazes. Not really a finished painting, but hey – it’s a demo. Look at the instructional sheets at the end of the post.
