Torville Kove studied urban planning and then switched into animation in her late 20’s. She has had 2 Academy Award nominations and is represented by the NFB (National Film Board of Canada). It is not such a strange switch. Think about it – you are more or less your own client, your ability to quickly draw little people and perspective environments is very empowering, you are somewhat used to storytelling, you are not intimidated by larger time-frame projects, etc. Hey, does this sound familiar or spur any ideas?
