Constructing the face and figure may seem challenging, but it is enormously interesting and engrossing. I am easily bored, but after many years, figure drawing (and perspective) are best things I ever undertook. You will learn so much more along the way!

Drawing Essentials Plus!
The Drawing Essentials Plus course aims to provide a practical toolbox of skills, ‘ten ways of seeing and drawing’, to build confidence in your ability to draw realistically from observation and from your imagination.
All levels can benefit and are welcome whether your goal is simply to improve your drawing or to approach painting and other visual arts with greater insight and competence.
Learn the essential techniques and skills necessary to draw objects and environments in perspective and to render shade, shadow and reflection with light. The course will deal with fundamentals (gesture, contour, mass, space, silhouette, figure-ground, tonal design, lighting, geometrics, and composition) to draw subjects such as buildings, landscape, florals, face, figure and abstraction. The lessons will be followed up by videos so you can practice at you own pace after the course.
